For Canadian Travellers
Fly from Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal via Amsterdam, London, or Nairobi to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Flight time is approximately 16–20 hours with one connection. February is popular — book early.
Canadians require a visa to enter Uganda. Apply online in advance at the Uganda e-Visa portal (approx. USD $50). Your visa is not included in the tour price. Lorraine can guide you through the process.
Yellow fever vaccination is required. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended. Consult your travel health clinic 6–8 weeks before departure. Travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage is essential.
Uganda uses Ugandan Shillings (UGX). USD cash is widely accepted. Your tour covers almost everything — budget extra for tips, souvenirs, and personal items.
February falls in Uganda's dry season — warm days (24–28°C), cool evenings, and minimal rain. Perfect for game drives and gorilla trekking. Pack light layers for early morning departures.
